Connect FreeStyle Libre with LibreLinkUp
Use the LibreLinkUp follower account that already receives the wearer’s readings.
Glucose Display is a secondary display. Follow your CGM manufacturer’s instructions and use your primary CGM app/device for treatment decisions and primary alerts.
What you need
- Current readings in the wearer’s compatible Libre app.
- An accepted sharing invitation and current readings visible in LibreLinkUp.
- The correct account region and a display connected to the internet.
Step-by-step setup
- From the wearer’s Libre app, invite the intended follower using their email address.
- Sign in to LibreLinkUp on the follower’s phone and accept the invitation. Confirm that the wearer’s readings appear.
- On Glucose Display, choose Libre and select the correct region.
- Enter the LibreLinkUp follower email and password on the display, then select Connect to Libre.
- If multiple connections appear, select the person whose readings you want to display.
Common problems
- No invitation: check the email address and spam folder, then resend from the wearer’s app.
- Region mismatch: check the region of both accounts and the display selection. Resolve the sharing connection in LibreLinkUp first.
- No connections: confirm the invitation is accepted and readings are visible in the follower app.
- Wrong person: check the selected connection. The display shows one active account at a time.
Can I use only the wearer’s Libre login?
Glucose Display connects through LibreLinkUp. Use the follower account receiving shared readings. Compatibility depends on the Libre app, product and region; confirm the working LibreLinkUp connection first.
