Quick checklist (top gotchas)
- FreeStyle Libre app shows current readings.
- LibreLinkUp invitation is accepted.
- Both accounts are in the same region.
- Phone has reliable internet + background data allowed.

What you need
- FreeStyle Libre app set up and actively receiving readings.
- A LibreLinkUp account with a connection to the wearer’s Libre account.
- Both accounts must be in the same region (region mismatch is a frequent blocker).
Step-by-step setup
- Create/verify the wearer’s FreeStyle Libre app account. Confirm current readings appear in the FreeStyle Libre app.
- Create the LibreLinkUp connection. From the wearer’s app, invite a follower via LibreLinkUp (email invitation). On the follower side, install LibreLinkUp, create/login, and accept the invitation.
- Sign in to your secondary display/app. Log in using the LibreLinkUp follower account (not the wearer’s primary app session). Select the correct person from the connections list (if multiple people are followed).
Troubleshooting (most common issues)
- No invitation received: confirm the email address is correct, check spam, and resend from the wearer’s app.
- Can’t connect across countries/regions: LibreLinkUp is region-bound; both accounts must be in the same region.
- Multiple connections: ensure you selected the correct followed user.
